MAISON MIRMANDE IS SET IN A VERY PRIVATE AND PEACEFUL SETTING, JUST OUTSIDE THE BEAUTIFUL 12TH CENTURY HILLSIDE VILLAGE OF MIRMANDE. Built in the 18th Century this charming ancient farmhouse represents a typical 'Maison de Campagne' in Provençe.

Mirmande is listed as one of France's most beautiful villages and the immediate countryside is one of fruit farming (Kiwi, Cherry, Apricot, Peach etc.) and charming perched villages with plenty of restaurants offering unpretentious traditional French food.

LOCATION:

Maison Mirmande is ideally located between 3 major cities: Marseilles, Lyon and Grenoble; all within an hour's drive from the village of Mirmande. The village has maintained its traditional way of life with its exquisite restaurants, friendly people and beautiful architecture.

This idyllic hideaway is only 10km off the A7 motorway that runs from Lyon down to Marseilles. The nearest towns are Montelimar & Valence which are approximately 20km south and north respectively.

The nearest airports of Lyon and Nîmes are 1 hour, 15 minutes away. The TGV station at Lyon airport reaches Valence in 20 minutes. There are also airports at Marseilles and Grenoble  which are approximately an hour and a half by car.

The property benefits from a magnificent 11m x 5m Swimming Pool on the terrace below and in front of the house, with ample space for eating and lounging.

Large gardens both in front and behind the house offer a multitude of the typical Provençal herbs, flowers and trees. There are Olive and Fruit trees on the property and these could also be grown on some of the terraces above the house.

There is also extensive woodland and a small fish pond.

Maison Mirmande has its own website: www.maisonmirmande.com which can be included in the sale and benefits from having had 4 successful years of rentals. The house features on 3 rental sites: Abritel, Homelidays & VRBO.

In high season the house (which is advertised to sleep 10 and fully equipped) rents at a rate of 2,500 EURO per week, mid season 2,000 EURO per week and low season 1,500 EURO per week. We also rent just the Annexe at 500 EURO per weekend (2 nights).
